If the authorization number is not linked with the patient case, then it won’t show in the Enter Charge screen.
Do charges on Hold in the Enter Charges screen show up on the AR or Patient Ledger?
No. Charges on HOLD in the Enter Charges screen will not show up on the AR or Patient Ledger.
How do you delete a patient?
It is not possible to physically delete a patient record. However, the patient can be deactivated by using the Active checkbox in Patient Demographics page. Go to patient search, and select the patient. When the demographics screen opens, uncheck the Active checkbox and save.
What does the On Account money on the Ledger mean?
On account is Patient Credit which is yet to be posted.
Should I inactivate the insurance if the same insurance level changes from secondary to primary or vice-versa?
If any claims are submitted for the particular insurance company, it is required to end-date the insurance and add a new one with updated coverage information. If the claims have not been submitted, then we can manually change the coverage from primary to secondary or vice versa.
